Kreative Pottery Wheel Experience

Service Description

$50/person | BRING A DATE, FRIENDS, FAMILY, TEAM BUILDING/BUSINESS or SPECIAL EVENT....ALL ARE INVITED!  If you're looking for a unique experience with you and your date, friend, family, business etc. come do some pottery with us. No experience required! We can do up to 8+ people per session!  The Kreative Pottery Wheel Experience is where you and your group (up to 8+ per group) have 2 hours throwing as many pots, bowls, vases etc. as you'd like while our instructors help you every step of the way, then you glaze and design them how you want (we have all primary colors and you can mix for more colors!) then we fire them a day later for pick up (3-5 business days) or we can ship them right to your front door. .   In the reservation confirmation you will receive a briefing video before your session giving an overall idea of what you got you and your friends into. We'll hand you your apron, a hair tie (if needed) and direct you to your kreative wheel station.  We start you off on 1lb of clay as a warm up and then you throw as many pieces as you'd like (most mugs, bowls and vases from beginners are 2-3 lbs of clay for each piece they throw). If you have done the experience before or know how to throw, you can request however much clay you'd like (max 12lbs however you can throw more for a small fee of $1.25/lb)! 15 mins till the hour is up you'll have 5 mins left of throwing clay till clean up time. The last 10 mins of the class you'll cleanup your pottery wheel and place all the tools back in the tool tray, then glaze/paint and design your masterpieces before we load them into the kiln. Be sure to take a fun picture with your group in front of our mural before you leave :) After 1-2 days of baking, we'll let you know when its ready for pick up or we can easily ship it to your door (about $5/piece if you ship them together). The Production Fee is $7-9/piece depending on the size (Small 1lb, Medium 2lbs, and Large 3lbs). Price may vary for pieces over 4-25lbs. We can't wait to throw some clay with you! The Kreative Krew

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made 24 hours before your reservation will receive a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours or no show's will result in a fee of $15 per person. Please note: It can take 6-8 weeks for your pottery to be finished drying, fired, glazed, and fired again. We do want to warn you that sometimes things happen in the kiln such as minor cracking in the bottom or the glaze crawls which is beyond our control when dealing with extreme temperatures of up to 2,300 degrees! All finished pieces not picked up 3 months after receiving pick up notice will be donated. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us for any questions or concerns.
